Glad to be of service - yes when they reformed in 2010 there was suddenly all this hype about them, and for the first time people were generally expected to like them - which obviously set them up for a backlash. I'm a huge fan but they are clearly not for everyone, they didn't need that kind of exposure.
Thanks for this. Pavement have nagged at me for years. Now I know I may safely disregard them. I can see they're "good", but they're not for me.
